Philips Satinelle Advanced - Épilateur 100 % étanche - BRE630/00

I have been using epilators for about 20 years and this baby is by far the best I have ever used. I had been using two competitors for the past 6 years and then thought I'd give this a go. It is much more gentle on skin; others if they don't pinch they will scratch or scrape skin, particularly on the upper lip and bikini. I would normally have to use baby powder to protect the skin in these two areas, but this is unnecessary with the Philips epilator. The ergonomic design also makes using this a dream. What a great product, thank you :)

I have always used conventional razors, but was intrigued to try to a different type of hair removal product. I was really impressed with the epilator, it was definitely effective at removing even quite fine hairs. Sometimes I had to go over the same area a few times to catch all the hairs but it was quite quick to cover the lower leg. Still haven't plucked up the courage (no pun intended) to use it instead of shaving my underarms yet!

Previous epilators I have used have hurt my skin, but this one is smooth, soft and gentle on the skin. It is easy to use and one I will continue to use.

Nice design, heads attach securely. However the guide plates don't clip to the heads securely. they pop of during use. Also only been epilating for 3 months since new and the epilating head is no longer working well. It keeps jamming so now it makes a horrendous noise. Hope it's a one off issue. New head ordered under warranty. Will see what the lifespan of this one will be. When it works it epilates well.
