This is my holy grail mask — the one I've been looking for many years but couldn't find. Sisley markets this mask as specifically formulated "to instantly provide your skin with a youthful and energised look"—a very bold claim to make about one's product—but I must say with all confidence that this is precisely what the Black Rose Mask does. Whenever my skin (or ego) needs a boost, I grab and apply this mask. Use it sparingly as I find that a little goes a long way and that it also works for much longer than expected. Your dull skin will thank you, as mine thanks me for having found the Black Rose Mask.

I know this is expensive but oh my gosh I absolutely love it! I received a sample of this in a beauty box and just had to get the full size! This leaves my skin feeling amazing and looking noticeably brighter! Definitely a splurge but worth it in my eyes.

Yes, this mask is hella expensive, but what can I say? I love it! I prefer to use it as a sleeping mask, because it seems insane to me, given the price point, to wear it for 15 minutes and then remove it. I apply a generous amount over clean skin (plus neck and chest!) about twice a week. I always wake up with bright, happy, plump skin. The fragrance is very light and doesn't bother my sensitive skin or nose but it's not a selling point for me either. This is straight up a good product, maybe the best Sisley product, and you get a lot of it. I also appreciate the convenience of packaging it in a squeeze tube. Most hydrating masks are a waste of money in my experience, but I do actually get visible results from this one, so I'm willing to eat the cost. Is it "worth it"? That depends. No skincare is worth going into debt, but if it's in your budget, yes, this product delivers on its claims. I would absolutely buy this again.

I like this mask because it is not super rich or pore clogging, so less dry skin types can use it too. I like to use it at night. I personally don’t apply a super thick layer. I just smooth on a small to medium sized dollop & let it sink in overnight. My skin feels smooth and moisturized in the morning. If I use it after exfoliating, then I like to think that I look better the next morning - less tired & washed out. I actually find it to be quite soothing. I feel like you are paying also for the absence of cheap, filler ingredients, if that makes sense. It feels like a real treat to use & smells delicious.
