I have the Makita version of this saw which is only good for very lightweight jobs... I decided I would go with the Bosch Pro saw as its claimed to be used by trades people, meaning heavy use in construction ?? I've only used it about 6 times and it appears to be far superior than the Makita version, time will tell.. In use, its a lovely well balanced piece of equipment. I also have the plane and the router in the same range and I'm well pleased with these, well balanced, nice weight and really easy to use and set up..

Great weight, accuracy and doesn't eat battery. Like the narrow kerf.

Purchased to "help" ;-) with a bathroom floor refit... Depth of cut just over an inch so Ideal for cutting 22mm chipboard flooring. Nice and light, adjustable depth of cut and it doesn't spit sawdust everywhere like the large saws. I've only got the 1.5Ah batteries and had no problem ripping a full length.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago, I required a small circular saw for the modification of my model railway baseboards. This tool was good quality, light and compact enough to get into small locations too tight for a full size saw. It works a treat, very good battery life just what I wanted. Brilliant!

I used this to line two barns with 9mm Sterling board and it was a dream to use. Later I used it for built in wardrobes in 18mm mdf. It is light yet powerful enough for panels and the small batteries last long enough. I have the large 240v Bosch circular saw as well but I always pick up the little one first. The big one chucks out so much dust that extraction is essential. I reckon the little one produces less dust than an handsaw because of the thin blade. The motor doesn't seem to blow it about either. So much so that I was using it in a bedroom to cut mdf (with dust sheets down) with no extraction. I did the same when laying laminate to save multiple trips in and out to a chopsaw. Blades for various materials are available. Brilliant tool!
