I prefer to use Nikon NC filters on my Canon EF lenses because they are multi-coated and easy to clean. I shoot Canon, but Nikon filter glass is hard to beat.

If youre spending his much on a DSLR camera and lens kit then you need to use an official Nikon filter. The companys reputation and brand speaks for itself and you will not be disappointed as this lens filter fits perfectly with you Nikon lens and keeps your investment safe from dust and scratches when shooting with your camera. Happy with my purchase and the time in which I received my purchase. Will shop at B&H again!

I was testing the amount of change a particular UV filter was making in my photos on a new portrait lens. I was surprised at the amount of chromatic aberration I was seeing- specifically a purple fringe. Without the UV, it was much better. I discovered these Nikon Clear NC filters and after testing, I found no change with or without the NC filter. Now I wont buy anything else. I will always use Nikon NC filters on my Nikon glass.

It may just be me, but I have a hard time spending a huge sum of money on a quality lens and then putting a cheap, second rate filter on it. I have used Nikon NC filters on all my lenses and find them to be a perfect fit, thin and unobtrusive and absolutely have no effect on the images I take. Its as though it isn't there and that's what I want in a NC filter.
