It's been a while since we've used the Playstation because my spouse is more of an Xbox guy, but in the entire month or so we've had this, it has NEVER charged the controllers. We've even tried different plugs and it will not charge the controllers at all. So either the base is bad or the ac plug is bad. Either way, we've wasted money. So thanks. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

This item looks like a real good piece of equipment, but do not be fooled, I have 3 PS5 controllers, and charging them was a hassle prior to owning this, so I decided to get this. Little did I know, it would soon become one of the biggest regrets I have ever made. As soon as I charged my controller in it, it instead BROKE my controller and I wasn’t able to reset it, charge it with a wire, nothing, ultimately all my controllers are now broken. Each time I charge it for a long period of time, it heats up for a while, and won’t power on. Don’t risk it by buying this.

I already have a charging station of a different brand so it helps that I can use it to compare with. I’ll start off by saying that it is super easy to plug the controller onto the charging dock. It is also easy to remove. The only con is that there is no light indicator on the dock itself to show if it is actually charging? The controller only lit up initially when it was plugged in and never lit up again so I can’t tell if it’s charging or if my controller is actually too full to be charged anymore. Overall I prefer a charging station that has a light indicator so I know if it’s still charging or if it’s done.
