Very pleased with the Ace pro camera, the flip up rear screen is a real game changer and the rapid charging saves time and money. So many excellent features.

The Insta360 Ace Pro is an absolute monster and is the first action camera to hit the magic 8K video output. It offers this only at 24 frames per second but is a true marker in the ground for GoPro and DJI to take note of. Video quality across all the resolutions is impressive, with good results in a range of different lighting conditions. Low-light performance is generally good, although there is still room for improvement, and highlights are handled better in photo mode than video mode. The gorgeous 2.4-inch flip screen gives a great size output for live viewing and reviewing footage. The range of mounts makes it ideally suited to all action sports, and it's robust enough to be usable in a wide range of environments. This camera looks set to shake up the market, and it'll be interesting to see how its competitors respond.

The Insta360 Ace Pro is a brilliant first attempt at a traditional action camera. It provides superb low-light shooting a convenient flip-up screen and is paired with some of the best software around. My only wish is that it didn't cost quite so much.
