Onkyo A-9110 - Amplificateur - 2 x 50 Watt - noir

I purchased this amplifier primarily for streaming music via an Amazon Echo and using Q Acoustics bookshelf speakers (mounted on Q Acoustic speaker stands). The sound and tonal quality is outstanding, it’s possible to discern each individual instrument with total clarity; to such a degree that one has the sense the musicians are actually in the room. I was so impressed that within the week I purchased a second Onkyo amplifier; opting to upgrade to the A-9130 model as this was for use in a larger room with my main hifi system and floor standing speakers. I am delighted with both purchases; listening to my music is now an even greater joy.

Sound quality is excellent for the price. Looks sleek and stylish. Very easy to operate. Speaker connectors are a bit fiddly, would have been better with banana type plugs. But there again you very rarely need to disconnect and reconnect.

For this price it is fantastic. Play my rega turntable through it and connected to Dali speakers. Totally recommended.

I was a little sceptical because of the low price, I had read all the reviews saying how great it was but I wasn’t a believer. I’ve had it for a few days and have played it a lot. It has good bass even without the pmbass button pressed, which I always leave turned off because I feel it adds a little unnatural sound. Although I do sometimes use it at night when I’ve got the volume low. I got this to replace my Marantz 1605 am receiver and it sounds a lot more musical than the Marantz. It has a much more open sound and a better sound stage, the music sounds a bit more exciting and fun. I am very happy with this amp and paired with my Kef r300’s my system sounds great. If you don’t have a big budget this amp is great to get you going into the world of great sound.
