Le Canon EOS R5 avec RF 24-105mm STM offre des performances professionnelles avec une haute résolution et un autofocus rapide. L'objectif est léger et compact, ce qui en fait un kit polyvalent pour un usage quotidien et les voyages. La stabilisation d'image fonctionne très bien et l'autofocus est fluide et silencieux, adapté à la vidéo. Les inconvénients sont l'ouverture variable, qui complique la prise de vue en basse lumière, et la forte distorsion et vignettage à 24mm sans correction. La qualité d'image dans les coins est faible sur les boîtiers haute résolution. L'objectif n'est pas tropicalisé, mais le rapport qualité-prix est bon pour un kit plein format.

I use this for food photography as it's light and easy to use but mainly for travel photography, as it is so flexible.

The R5 mk2 is a great improvement on the original R5. Much better autofocus and subject tracking and the pre-capture is excellent for wildlife, particularly birds in flight. The high ISO is perhaps not quite as good as the R5 but noise reduction software has improved in that time so its not so much of an issue. There are a couple of things that I find annoying: No lens hood is supplied and no printed user guide either. To charge another £44 for a plastic lens hood and not even show it as an optional acccessory when you are spending over £5k on a camera is not what I would expect from Canon.

I have had great success with recent aurora and wildlife shots. Very sharp images. However noise is an issue at higher iso. Fortunately it's nothing that can't be easily fixed in photoshop
