Sony A7C II Noir + 28-60mm

Was a Canon user for over 25 years. Wanted a different camera experience for sports and wild life that was more compact, yet does not compromise features, flexibility, at a smaller size.

Thus far has shown itself flexible, no harder to handle than a6400, although fuller-featured. Dependant on lens fitted, of course, the A7C II really is surprisingly compact. Side-folding screen has taken a little getting used to but just a matter of practice. (Thanks to an eye difficulty I do not use the viewfinder.) The Sony menu system is what it is! Previous familiarity with the brand and frequent recourse to Google and YouTube should see you through the thicket! Purchaser of the back only ought to be aware that the box contains just that, plus a Sony strap, plus a battery. The camera is of course compatible with all your E-mount or FE-mount lenses but if it's your first venture into full-frame you will need a battery charger and some spare batteries. (Well yes, you can charge the battery in-camera if you must!)

Traded my well-loved A7iii for the A7cii so that I'd have the same menu system as my a 6700 and the improved AI autofocus while being able to use my native FE lenses. Great upgrade, and, at my age, probably my last camera purchase! Snappy performance, superb autofocus operation, immense amount of control over functions.
