It just smells really good to me, and the longevity is quite impressive for an after shave at around 5-6 hours, even though the sillage doesn't quite keep up. The top note has a creamy, green, and citrusy scent of Petitgrain. You can also detect pepper, neroli, and lavender. The heart note remains floral with hints of geranium, violet, garden carnation, and jasmine blossoms, but it also has a balsamic scent of sandalwood. The base offers an animalic-sweet-bitter musk fragrance. Additionally, there are woody, balsamic, rooty, and earthy aromas of vetiver, oak moss, and a bit of tobacco. In the background, you can also recognize tonka beans and creamy bourbon vanilla.
