Black Diamond Storm 450 Headlamp Noir 400 Lumens

The Storm 500-R is a perfect example of a company adding useless features, making something overly complicated, and never testing it in the field. Useless features: green and blue lights. You only need white and red. Overly complicated: multiple buttons that are impossible to use with gloves and a mystery mode that suddenly makes the light blindingly bright. Never tested: There are four bright blue power level lights on the bottom that shine whenever you turn the light on or off. If you wear glasses these lights shine behind your lenses and temporarily blind you. Useless and dangerous! Oh...and still using micro USB? Come on Black Diamond, do better!

Good head lamp plenty of lumens and its light for wearing for several hours at a time

Good quality and lighting, but the battery level LED indicators are a nuisance when turning off. I wear glasses and can't see until the LED indicators time off (about 5 sec.). The LED indicators illuminate my eyeglasses, due to glare.

Buttons are slightly confusing, one press, 2s press, long press, 2 button press.... Lock feature is very useful, no more flat batteries coming out of cargo hold

I have been using it around the house and it has been working great! Have not taken it camping yet but its much lighter than my old headlamp and the battery is amazing.
