This is my 2nd Manfrotto Carbon monopod - but not because of any faults with the first one, Its sturdy construction yet light weight makes it ideal for extra stability on rough ground, and as I've got older I now appreciate that the two monopods make excellent, sturdy walking poles too.

I live where it is frequently very windy , so I'm using the monopod as a secure brace & as a former semi pro selling storm photography I wish I'd bought one years ago , it's perfect in every way. Also very useful for hand held Macro .
