Zeiss Filtre UV T* 55 mm

The packaging for this lens filter is like no other that I have experienced. The first thing that you notice is the hinge in the plastic container. When I opened the case all that I saw was the black ring and thought that they had forgotten the glass. It was that clear and went onto our Zeiss lens smoothly and perfectly. You get what you pay for.

I'll be honest, I just bought this to protect my lens. It's kind of like buying a screen protector for your phone. This is a great filter though. When I received it, I held it up and thought there was nothing in the 'ring'. I was so confused for 5 minutes but I touched it and there was 'invisible glass'. Just SUPER high quality and worth buying.

Perfect uv filter without affecting image quality.

I bought this one on the advice of the salesperson. It cost the same as a similar one from B&W. It seems to work very well, though we haven't had any high haze days, where I can test it out more formally.

I use this on a Sony A6000 camera with a Sony Zeiss 16-70 MM lens. I purchased this filter primarily to protect my lens. Seeing as to how I am quite pleased with the aforementioned lens, this filter lets the color and vibrancy come through. It does the job.
