Zeiss T* UV Filtre 77mm

I use the Zeiss UV filters on the front of every lens I own. They provide top-shelf protection against the elements, and are extremely easy to screw on and off. Never once have one of these filters gotten jammed onto one of my lenses. While they do provide excellent protection, I never shoot with one of these UV filters on the lens. I prefer to only use a filter when absolutely necessary (i.e. ND filters or a polarizer)...otherwise I want nothing between the lens and the subject. Any UV filter, regardless of its quality, can introduce flair or other unwanted reflections if you are shooting directly into the sun or into another light source.

Excellent protection. I always place filters on my lenses for extra protection. You don't even know this one is there. I tested my new lens with and without this filter. The filter does not degrade the image at all and gives me the peace of mind knowing I am not scratching my expensive glass or rubbing it too hard when I have to clean the front element.

I don't know what else you could ask for in a filter?
