I keep going back to these and whilst they can last me years, a new pair feel perfectly weighted like an extension of my limbs.

I find these sticks to be durable and reliable, I also like the black coating because I find it easier to play having a smoother grip compared to unpainted sticks. Just be aware they do get slippery in a gig situation however the slickness is preferable to me, maybe not for beginners though.
