La bouilloire Russell Hobbs 21274-70 Textures se distingue par sa fonction d'ébullition rapide, permettant de chauffer une tasse d'eau en environ 50 secondes. Sa grande capacité de 1,7 L la rend idéale pour les familles. Son design est souvent apprécié pour la combinaison de finitions mates et brillantes. I bought this to replace my much loved, long-lived, old Russell Hobbs kettle which had lost its auto shut off and limescale filter after many years use. Unfortunately although the opening advertising picture looked like my old one, the product that arrived, which is only pictured if you swipe left, was a cheaper plastic version and smelled of car fumes when I unwrapped it, and then hydrogen sulphide (rotten eggs) when I boiled it the first time. It took several boilings to get rid of most of the smell. Cheap and tacky....Saving grace....it does boil quicker than my old one and shuts itself off.

It’s good and does the job! but after a couple weeks there’s a horrible squealing noise coming from the kettle. Which is obviously very annoying. Apart from that it’s ok.

This kettle is a bargain! It's by a good maker, it's light to handle, quick to boil and good to look at.

The filter on this Russell Hobbs texture kettle has fallen out twice and the water dribbles down the outside once boiled when you go to pour the water. Only had it about a month and a half. It looks lovely and I like being able to judge the amount needed for a cup/mug but I’d choose a different brand next time if the filter keeps falling out so fingers crossed it doesn’t.

Excellent quality kettle for the price. Well made, not heavy, so good news for a pensioner like me. Exactly as advertised, boils quickly and is very quiet. I really can’t find anything to criticise, hence the star rating.
