Domke F-5XB Sac d'Epaule Noir

Undoubtedly well made and long lasting. Will only take something the size of an A7CR & Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6. I'd have to force an A7R5 and 24-70mm f/2.8 in without the hood. The front pocket is shallow, not full depth. The big con for me is the oily/wax finish which gets on my hands and then my camera equipment. Overall I'm somewhat disappointed.

I bought one of these a bit over 3 years ago, the Olive is wonderfully unobtrusive and despite daily use it looks better than when new. It'll hold my Fuji rangefinder, a couple of batteries, filters, remotes, memory cards with space to spare. The inside pocket is big enough for a paperback, a notebook, some pens and my 'phone. The strap is comfortable, easily removed and the whole thing washes well when it gets grubby. The only improvements I could suggest would be a bit of foam lining in the bottom of the bag and to get rid of the "Domke" label on the flap, it shouts "camera" but it's easily unpicked to render it pleasingly anonymous. All in all, if you've not much to lug around I can't recommend it too highly.

Really great bag, tough and very well made, highly recommend it .. Ideal for my X100F with space for extra batteries, charger, mini tripod, etc. It comes with a tin of wax for reproofing the canvas.. The only dislike I had was the big makers label on the front.. so I removed this by unpicking the stitching and rubbing some proofing into the needle holes. Note to Domke , . replace the big label with a more discreet one... the bag oozes quality. the label makes it look cheap.

Nice camera bag that doesn’t look like a camera bag. Comes with a tin of wax for the canvas. If you are careful with a seam ripper and razor blade you can remove the logo label to make it look even more nondescript. See photo submitted.

Had ordered several Domke small shoulder bags in olive for last 5 years [lenses and cameras], but figured I need a skosh more room for my Fuji XE3 plus 23mm f2 and 35 f2 lenses, plus a Nissin i40 Flash. This bag nails my needs! This bag encompasses my fully automatic rig efficiently. Nice material and strap; and just a bit lighter than the typical waxed canvas bags. Nice!
