I purchased this case for my Nikon 200-500 mm lens...a perfect fit, well made and nicely padded.

Fit: I got this for myAF Nikkor 300mm f/2.8 and it fits snug around the front end of the lens; enough that the lens wont slide out smoothly - I have to hold the bag down to pull the lens out. Construction: Lightweight, ample padding and well placed handles on the top and along the side (apart from the shoulder/neck strap). Money well spent - no complaints yet.

I purchased this case specifically for use with a Sigma 150-600 mm with attached 1.4x teleconverter, to facilitate travel without having to disassemble the unit first. It fits perfectly.
