The hrm-run sensor died on me the other day and refused to work. After doing research online and contacting garmin support I found out that the sensor is a fake. Amazon refused to help and I'm now thinking about continuing to buy anything any more off amazon due to fakes. By the way garmin sent me a new sensor FREE OF CHARGE.

After 14 months (12 month warranty), strap would not pair with the Garmin watch (Fenix 5X plus). Changed the battery and no luck. A bit pricey to be replacing every year.

The device worked fine until just over the 1 year warranty. Now it needs a new battery every other run. Not happy with garmin quality control. **UPDATE** Garmin sent me a brand new device without hassle.
