I used the SanDisk Extreme 256GB card for a 5-hour shoot doing both stills and video, and it worked perfectly the whole time - fast, reliable, no issues at all.

I use it for long term backup. It takes me about 2 hours to fill it completely before I put it in read-only mode. On my other identical cards, after 3-4 years, I have no problem reading them again.
