Epson S051099 - Conducteur photographique

Epson AcuLaser M1200 (A4) Mono Laser Printer (20ppm,600 dpi) Total lack of knowledge about anything to do with IT (!!), but I know a man who does! Therefore gave him the following information:- Infrequent use of printer; No requirement for colour; No requirement for ink cartridges; Easy to set up etc; Reasonable price as I am a "senior citizen"! He researched printers available and advised me to get this one. Result :- Absolutely right - the title says it all! The product has good quality, clear printing, was easy to set up/install etc. It uses a Toner which is the only item I will have to obtain in the future - no more ink cartridges!!

I use a Mac and a colour inkjet for most things, but for reasons which are too complicated to go into here, I also needed a mono laser printer for my elderly PC. This is a great little printer. I knew that laser printers were fast but I was really surprised the first time it actually happened in front of my eyes! Excellent quality too. Like a previous reviewer, I was a bit suspicious of the low price but honestly, there is absolutely no reason to pay more. Please be aware that this printer is not compatible with the newest version of Snow Leopard. That is the only reason I have given it 4 stars. Otherwise it would be 5+
