L'AKG K72 est un casque studio abordable et confortable avec un câble long et un design léger. La qualité sonore est correcte pour le prix, mais les médiums manquent de clarté, surtout pour les voix et instruments. L'isolation est moyenne car les coussinets ne s'ajustent pas toujours bien, notamment pour les porteurs de lunettes. Le câble fixe est pratique en studio mais moins pour un usage mobile. La construction majoritairement en plastique donne une impression de fragilité. Bon choix pour le suivi abordable et confortable, moins pour le mixage critique.

They may not have been expensive, but what good is it if they don't have bass? I might not know much about this; I'm an amateur, making music as a hobby in Ableton Live, and I've only recently been using these headphones. In the final mix, I boost the bass because there's not enough of it with the reference K72 headphones, and what's the result? The music mixed this way sounds terrible on another audio source because there's way too much bass, dominating the entire project. It's a trap... This is a serious problem for me; I'm not happy with these headphones. They're basically useless.

Without being exceptional, these headphones do the job, reproducing bass very well even at low amplification. Although it's not dramatic, I was a little disappointed with the highs, which were crushed by midrange that was a little too powerful.
