L'Audeze MM-500 est un casque haut de gamme ouvert, conçu pour le studio professionnel et l'écoute critique. Le son est très analytique et neutre, ce qui permet d'entendre facilement les détails et nuances de la musique. La qualité de fabrication et les matériaux sont excellents, et le confort est adapté aux longues sessions. L'image stéréo est large et les instruments bien séparés. Cependant, le prix est élevé et la force de serrage peut être trop forte pour certains. L'accentuation des médiums/aigus peut fatiguer lors d'écoutes prolongées, et le subbass et les aigus sont moins présents que sur certains autres modèles haut de gamme. Pour ceux qui recherchent un casque de référence fiable, le MM-500 est un excellent choix si l'on accepte ces inconvénients.

The Audeze MM-500 perform better than their audio reproduction accuracy score suggests. While their frequency response deviates from their flat sound signature, the absence of fluctuations in narrow, neighboring frequency bands indicates deliberate tuning rather than uncontrolled audio reproduction. The treble region features a slight low-treble emphasis coupled with mid-treble de-emphasis, retaining detail and articulation in vocals and instruments while softening sibilants. The Audeze headphones have very good stereo matching and excellent harmonic distortion performance, so you won't notice shifts in the stereo image caused by the headphones, nor coloration from unwanted harmonics. While the headphones excite the pinna, our PRTF measurements indicate their presentation won't sound as natural as our benchmark, an angled stereo speaker setup.

Juste parfait! Excellent casque pour la production et le monitoring. Tout le spectre des fréquences est rendu de façon ultra précise y compris les subs dont on perçoit même la dynamique. Très confortable, se porte toute la journée sans soucis.

Simply put, the best headphones you can buy. Clear mids, sparkling highs, and full, speedy lows. If you are looking for something with heavy bass with an artificially warm sound, this isn’t for you. I had the LCD-X and these are definitely a cut above, at least. These have become my go-to open backs, with the Focal Radiance being my go-to closed back choice. If you can afford it, pull the trigger. And if you are thinking about the LCD-X, I would recommend saving up a bit more and go for these. Y...
