Le Focal Clear MG Professional est un casque studio haut de gamme ouvert avec un son très détaillé et neutre, idéal pour le mixage et le mastering. Les transducteurs en magnésium légers et les coussinets en microfibre assurent un confort durable. La qualité de fabrication est excellente et la conception ouverte offre une scène sonore spacieuse et précise. Cependant, le prix est élevé et la conception ouverte laisse échapper le son, ce qui le rend moins adapté aux déplacements ou aux environnements bruyants. La signature sonore très neutre ne plaira pas à tout le monde. Des coussinets de rechange et un étui solide sont inclus.

Absolutely stunning phones, wonderful for gauging sub and lows, not for tracking (open back), but ideal for mixing. The short curly cable is heavy/tricky so needs a headphone extension cable with a, though the connectors to the phones themselves are standard mini trs jacks, not some proprietary connector, so it would be easy to make an alternative cable (but at Focal quality, with my soldering skills... maybe not). The sound for long DAW edit use is fab, driving it with a RND headphone amp... lush! Quality end to end is exemplary, much like the new Sounds Easy showroom and v friendly staff (park in Bunnings nearby!)

The Clear Mg Professional from Focal is the successor to the Clear Professional. Those come from the French manufacturer’s Professional series and are expressly aimed at professional and demanding sound engineers, while Focal offers the Clear Mg to the audiophile music lovers segment of the market.
