The mic quality is really good when it's close to your mouth but when it's a bit farther, it's not as good. Also the mic picks up basically anything it can hear. So if you're going to buy this for streaming, I advise not. This mic is better for recording your voice and nothing else.

I helped my 14yo son buy this for gamechat + YouTube, after he had done all the homework re: reviews. I now have one very happy teen, who loves his purchase.

Purchased this as a Christmas gift and my brother Loved it! He was in tears...to be honest I am not sure what this does but I am now the favorite sister!

The Blue Snowball is a great budget microphone for average joe that needs a microphone but is not willing to splurge hundreds on a professional grade audio equipment. This microphone tops pretty much every single category at it's price point. However it should be noted this is a budget microphone not a professional one. Thus it lacks other features and the quality gain from higher end Blue Yeti

I thought I was going to get the older version with the printer cable, but no! I got a newer one with a new connector, (I dont know what its called, but it looks like an android charger).. I just had one issue when I first got it, it didnt sound good AT ALL, but you have to go to your Control Panel and set it to 44,000hertz so it will sound good! I use it as a streaming mic and recording for YouTube, its a good mic.
