Razer Kraken Kitty V2 BT Headset Wireless Head-band Gaming Bluetooth Pink

I bought this and within 3 days there was an ear-piercing loud noise that made me loose my hearing for a minute. It was so loud that my boyfriend wearing his noise canceling headphones across the room heard. The volume was at 5-10 originally, everything was plugged in correctly. Mine might have just been defective I'm not sure but I am returning them today. Too scared to wear them again. Also, They are very tight and hurt my ears after an hour or two of wearing them. they hurt my jaw and around my ears, not the ears themselves. and I have a pretty small head.

OK. Let's get the main thing out the way. They're freakin' adorable. Cat ears, RGB, let's gooooo. That's where the positives end and where Razer totally lost the plot. If you gonna bring the meow, you gotta bring the yowl on the fence, y'hear? The output sound is really, really muffled on anything more than mid-range tones. Volume control is decent, and the amplification is on par with a mod set of speakers, but nowhere near what a pair of reference headphones will get you. DGMW, for under $100 USD I wasn't expecting Grado quality. The microphone is, simply put, TERRIBLE. Anything above baritone sounds awful. Your friends will make fun of how your headset sounds. It simply can't capture decent audio. I'm sure if you're streaming and have a separate mic and are just wearing these for the looks, then you'll be happy with them. But for those looking for an all-in-one BT headset with kitteh bling, this ain't it.
