With a focus on business users, the Adapt 660 wireless headphones sound great, both when you're speaking and when you're listening. The older design comes with a few quirks, and the epxensive price tag may be a barrier for some, but we'd be very happy if our boss left a pair of these headphones on our desk.

The compact, connectivity-friendly ADAPT 660 over-ear headset from EPOS is designed for professionals on the move, it offers customisation options via software and an app as well as ambient noise control. Thanks to AI technology and beamforming microphones, it is claimed that excellent voice quality can be achieved in the (home) office, while high-quality audio codecs are available for wireless media playback with aptX Low Latency, aptX and AAC.

On the face of it, it does everything I want. NC in a noisy open plan office, Teams and phone connections. Comfortable. Great voice clarity and doesn’t pick up all other sounds going on around you when on a Teams call. However, it has trouble taking one call after the next - drops out of connection with your phone. Also unreliable to connect with Teams - often requires multiple headphone restarts to get teams to be able to hear you. I am still working with EPOS support to see if it is the USB port settings in Windows 10 and if it is something with apple 14.2 iOS. I’ve had a second headset sent and it is the same. I want it to work reliably but it currently isn’t.
