Sony LinkBuds Gris

The design of the Sony LinkBuds makes them an excellent option for runners and cyclists who want more awareness during their exercise, but it does limit their appeal in other situations.

I bought these LinkBuds to replace a set from Klipsch that finally gave up; they were great. These things are impossible to fit in your ear and be loud enough. The only way to get decent volume out of them is to barely insert them into your ears. When they hang just a whisper away from falling out, then and only then is the volume sufficient. I can't wait for them to break or fall out and get lost so that I can replace them with something good.

If you like small, light, comfortable and fine-sounding in-ear headphones, but you also like to know what’s going on in the outside world, Sony has answered your prayers

Bought these 6m ago. Their battery life is only about 3hrs, their charge case doesn’t hold much (if any) of a residual charge and they do not stay in my ears well. Those are the faults of the design. Now, additionally, while the L fits my ear properly, the R doesn’t fit well at all. Just not a great purchase.

Great ear bud. Fits snuggly and sound is acceptable for intended use. I use them whilst cycling so I can stay aware of my surroundings. Unfortunately battery life is dreadful. Barely 3 1/2 hours from fully charged to dead. Will continue to use these on my short rides but stick with my soundcore aerofit, which have astonishing battery life, for my day rides
