La version casque du 3M Peltor Optime I H510B est appréciée pour sa légèreté, son confort et son atténuation fiable pour le bruit industriel modéré. Les coussins larges et doux réduisent la pression et sont faciles à remplacer, ce qui améliore l'hygiène. Le design se combine facilement avec d'autres EPI comme les casques. Attention : pour des niveaux sonores très élevés, ce casque est moins adapté et il peut devenir chaud par temps chaud. Pas de fonctions électroniques ou de communication.

Examining the ear piece it appears just thin plastic and foam, I don't know how item is engineered but I have to say it is effective in shielding high frequency noise but allowing low frequency so you can hear someone talking to you. I am very sensitive to powerful machine noise and high dBs, to prevent ear pain I have to wear defenders even just hoovering at home.
