Le casque Oakley Mod1 est un modèle de ski et snowboard léger, inspiré des casques de skate et au profil bas, destiné aux riders de park et all-mountain recherchant surtout simplicité et confort. Le système d’ajustement BOA 360 permet un réglage très précis, tandis que la boucle magnétique FIDLOCK facilite grandement la mise en place et le retrait avec des gants. Les coussinets d’oreille et la doublure amovibles autorisent une adaptation à la température et aux préférences personnelles. En contrepartie, la ventilation reste simple et non réglable, et les matériaux ainsi que les fonctionnalités sont moins avancés que sur les modèles Oakley plus haut de gamme, ce qui peut inciter les riders exigeants ou orientés backcountry à se tourner vers un casque plus sophistiqué.

I purchased this ski helmet, excited to finally try skiing with it for the first time. However, my experience quickly turned from excitement to fear due to a critical failure of this helmet during my very first use. As the picture shows, the helmet cracked almost completely through after what should have been a manageable fall. This level of damage is unacceptable for a product meant to protect your head during high-impact sports. The integrity of the helmet's material was clearly subpar, leaving me questioning its safety standards. A helmet is a crucial safety tool for skiing, and this one failed spectacularly when I needed it most. Fortunately, I wasn't seriously injured, but this incident could have ended much worse. I cannot recommend this product to anyone and strongly urge the manufacturer to reevaluate the design and materials used. Safety should never be compromised, and this product missed the mark entirely. Do not risk your well-being with this helmet!

I measured my head and the helmet fit my head perfectly. But the ear flaps stuck out too far and are not flush to my ears. They would not keep my ears warn. Returned.
