The Galaxy Watch is Samsung's most refined smartwatch due to its helpful fitness tracking and four-day battery life – if you opt for the larger 46mm size that we liked and recommend. All of this is packaged inside a sophisticated-looking circular silver-and-black smartwatch that has a rotating bezel for effortless menu navigation. Be warned, third-party apps are lacking and its iOS support is limited if you're using an iPhone. This is best for Samsung fans.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 continues to offer one of the better smartwatch experiences on the market, with a dazzling design and top-end spec that allows it to run as smoothly as any other wearable of this age and still compete with newer watches. It isn’t faultless, and its improvements over the original Galaxy Watch are limited, but if the middling battery life or high price don’t put you off this may be perfect for you.

This was a present for my dad's birthday. He has a Samsung phone, so the watch was a perfect addition. He loves the watch, sound and microphone quality are excellent. He is still learning all the features but it has been a hit with him. A+.
