Max Factor Miracle Glow Duo 20 Medium 11 g

Can’t believe I was stupid enough and vain enough to believe what it said on the blurb in Boots. Total waste of money. Never again.

When I first purchased, I thought it was 0 stars as couldn’t find much use for it and the shimmery highlighter was hard to see on my face. I thought I would try it again, I now use the matte shade as a concealer/base, love it! The shimmery highlighter looks better with foundation and gives a subtle shimmer but you do have to apply it twice. I use the medium shade and have very fair skin, would not get the light one. Want to try the dark one if I ever manage to tan!

I've enjoyed using this miracle glow. It's nice and light so if like me, you aren't very good at this highlighting business then it's perfect and doesn't show up where you may have got it wrong. There are two sides, a light side and a bronze side. I followed the max factor miracle glow YouTube guide on how to apply this and was very pleased with how easy it was. The light side kind of preps like a primer then the bronze side does just that, bronze, but it is very subtle and just gives you a lovely looking healthy glow. I will definitely be buying this again.

I bought this product last Xmas in UK Boots because I needed a highlighter and I like the brand Max Factor overall. After trying it I must say I'm really dissapointed, does nothing for me, and it wasnt cheap. Reading good reviews makes me think I bought a fake one. A lost of money.

I have to say I was somewhat disappointed by this duo. Firstly the packaging is not the greatest as it was tricky to open, and the fact it doesn’t come with a brush is annoying. The highlighter is hard to apply as it is not as creamy as you would expect, making it hard to blend. However it does provide a nice shimmer although not as pigmented.
