I wrote a review on the Samsung version of this product, so see that, but bottom line, USB is a mechanical risk when added to the product which exposes your data to unreliable and mechanically inadequate USB. If it fails you have no easy way to access your data. If you use a SATA SSD instead and an enclosure that has a USB interface the size is marginally larger but if the USB fails (which is common under heavy use) you can remove the SSD and put it in a new enclosure and make your data available immediately. The higher cost of these products is not justified unless you work around the reliability issues of USB. So it gets 3 stars for architecture.

The case provides a snug fit for the SanDisk Extreme SSD. There is a net pouch to hold the USB cable and adapter. It's not as heavily padded as some other cases, but the lining seems adequate for storage, if not for rough duty. The elastic strap is snug, and you have to work a little to get the SSD out from under it - not a problem, just an observation. It will probably loosen up over time anyway. The zipper is straight and works smoothly. All in all, it's a good llittle case for the money.

Have not put it through any test or used it for a long time. Only use it for sling studio. Can not be used a bootable drive

I use my SanDisk Extreme 2TB as backup of video files on my iPad Pro 11 (holds about 36 hours of Nikon Z7 4K video at 30 fps). I have another 1TB SanDisk for photos (about 10000 Large Raw + Jpg Fine Nikon Z7 files). IPadOS made all of this possible by allowing external disk drives on the USB-C port on the iPadPro.
