May not be "rubish", but slow as a slug, considering the premium price. Maybe if FAT was changed tto NTFS? Tested as: SanDisk Portable SSD SCSI Disk Device PortSSD (K:), 1.8 TB "exFAT" Type of file Speed of reading Speed of writing Small files (32.0 KB): 67.77 MB/s 9.07 MB/s Medium files (3.0 MB): 340.98 MB/s 212.37 MB/s Large files (100.0 MB): 333.48 MB/s 310.55 MB/s

Works great. Got one for a friend too.its amazing how much it holds. I’m in the process of moving all my photos to my SanDisk to get them off my phone..

I have multiples of this for PC and Mac and some of these reviews are due to user tardation frustration, I wish I could reply with quick fixes for them, for Mac reformat Exfat, honesty I have a shelf of these I wish they had a teraflop lol or at least a 20gb one

I have a 2TB ext drive it works but it has deleted some valuable data and as a result lost me some high revenue.
