Lexar NS100 2,5" 512 Go Série ATA III

1st one had boot problems, no drive found randomly. Easy return/exchange with Amazon. 2nd one is doing fine 1 year later. Kiddo uses the laptop daily for school. I have not ran any read/write tests but laptop boot up is waaaaayyyy faster and so is overall performance. I had to download a separate free cloning software for it to replace the old HDD. A person can make an older laptop seem like new for 70 bucks in RAM and SSD upgrades.

I put these 120GB SSDs in Linux computers (usually Linux Mint) which on take 20 - 30 GB of storage. I use most any brand that is a good value, but I do feel better about the Lexar brand (which means I have no real idea how well this will last).

Works as it should as advertised. My first computer build and my first SSD (late bloomer) lol. I am impressed how fast the read and write speeds are. Very quick. I use it as my main drive to run windows and all my other programs with. I'm amazed how much faster everything is. I would recommend this product, cheap on price but great quality.

I just received the internal Lexar 128 GB and installed it. I'm using it as an external file drive for a Chromebox and it works very well after formating it. I also have a PNY 120gb drive and they both seem to be made similarly. As for the speed, I don't know., I just know it seems fast and put my files and music on it very easily. I have it attached to an on/off switch USB hub and plan to use it only to download when needed, otherwise, it will be off most of the time. So far I'm happy with it and it seems worth it for an SSD. I wasn't paid nor was it given to me for free as you see other fake reviews. If I was going to put an SSD in my laptop I'd buy a Samsung EVO because it's among the best,, but I'm using this Lexar as an external drive only, so it works for me..
