These speakers are tiny but damn do they sound good. They’re built like tanks too, so well made and feel like premium quality. I owned a pair of Genelecs years ago that were sadly stolen, and I’ve wanted another pair ever since. I’m so happy with these

After a bunch of research into the 8020s and a few of their rivals at a similar price point, I opted for the 8020s as they're touted as being super flat and unforgiving, which is ideal for the mixing/mastering work I do. These are truly fantastic speakers for the money. As others have pointed out, they go plenty deep for most use cases to the point where you could arguably get away without adding a subwoofer. The detail is incredible, everything I put through them sounds great, and they're killer tools for getting things really dialed in before moving on to bigger speakers for reference. The room EQ on the back is simple but effective, and the power saving feature is a nice touch - the speakers turn back on so quickly, you barely notice it. On top of all that, they look and feel very premium, and the overall design is just really cool and sculptural. All in all, highly recommend these if you're after something with a smaller footprint and an honest/unforgiving sonic picture

I'd heard that these little monitors were good, but they were even better than I expected. Very pleased. Make sure to read the manual and use the toggles to match your room and speaker placement

For a home studio I can highly recommend the Genelec 8020D monitors. Superb sound and build quality and plenty loud enough. If you use them with the Genelec 7040A sub you will have the perfect mixing / mastering setup that will last you for years to come

As usual, received the shipment in expected time. These monitors are not the first Genelecs I've purchased, and as such are always as good as their reputation.
