Bang & Olufsen Beosound Explore Vert

The B&O Explore manages to look great while being tough as nails, and its sound is as accomplished as you'd expect from B&O. It small size means audio is a bit constrained, but that's to be expected – this is a great outdoors companion.

The Bang & Olufsen Beosound Explore is a great portable speaker which looks the part and sounds fantastic. If you pay the $200 entry fee, you’ll find a great little speaker under the aluminum shell. There are other options out there that offer perhaps slightly lower prices, but none of them sound or look as good as the Beosound Explore.

J’avais bien lu, vu et entendu des avis et essais sur cette enceinte B&O. Une occasion d’avoir un jour un produit de cette marque que je reluque depuis les années 80… et puis je me lance dans l’achat de cette Beosound. En fait tout me plaît dans la forme mais quelle déception sur le fond ! Rarement un son ne m’a autant déplu. C’est évidemment subjectif mais j’ai trouvé le son plat, aucune rondeur, ni profondeur, les basses n’en parlons pas. J’ai vite regretté mon ancienne petite Bose soundlink ! Bref, renvoyée quasi immédiatement et une Sonos Roam dans la foulée pour remplacer cette très décevante B&O. Dommage

B&O's answer to its lacking of a true 360-degree output portable product, which succeeds in delivering on that front - and in a portable, long-lasting package - but it's not as accomplished as the almost-the-same-price Beosound A1 2nd Gen, which is the obvious choice to go for really.
