Le Philips PerfectCare Elite Silence GC9642/60 est apprécié pour son repassage rapide et facile, son design léger et son réglage automatique de la température. Le grand réservoir d'eau est pratique et facile à remplir. De nombreux utilisateurs trouvent l'appareil silencieux et facile à ranger. Les inconvénients sont le prix élevé, des problèmes connus de fuites ou de taches brunes après quelques années et le fait que le service hors garantie est souvent coûteux et compliqué. Le fer ne peut pas non plus tenir debout sur la planche, ce qui peut être peu pratique. Globalement, c'est un appareil puissant et convivial, mais il faut tenir compte des coûts d'entretien à long terme.

This product is absolutely fantastic. It performs in exactly the way that it is described. I love it that I do not have to change the heat settings when going from denim to silk! I was surprised that this would actually be possible in an iron station. The steam generator iron sits neatly on the end of my ironing board which was also surprising as I expected it to be much larger and bulkier. I already had another steam station, but this one has made ironing even faster!

This iron delivers a lot of steam but it does nothing to iron out the creases. I tried ironing damp cotton items but still the creases remained. The steam goes everywhere, including all over your face and it fogs out your glasses. I regret having purchased this iron!

i was given this iron and unfortunately have been so disappointed. obviously as it was a gift i didn't want to return it. firstly it was very different to get used to the fact it doesn't stand on its base like my old iron. You can get used to anything but the performance is way inferior. Although it seems to have a lot of steam all that does is make you hot and hardly touches the chinos and cotton shirts. i have had it for just over 6 months and now it is spurting out brown water although i do the calc clean regularly. i will definitely be buying another brand next time.

This is an excellent steam generator iron, it produces the perfect amount of steam every time and I love that the temperature automatically adjusts so no fiddling about with a thermostat & waiting for the iron to heat or cool when changing between heavy to delicate fabrics and vice versa, glides easily over all types of fabrics, makes ironing quick & easy, produces excellent results when compared with a regular iron without all the added effort.

Admittedly I was reluctant to spend so much money on an iron, however I must admit that you get what you pay for. I am impressed! It significantly cuts down ironing time and you dont have to adjust heat settings or use starch spray - it glides easily over all materials without burning to iron out wrinkles. I can confidently say this is one of the best home appliances I have ever invested in and will be using it for years to come.
