Got great results using this filter on both Rollei infrared film and my DSLR. High quality build.

After trying the Polaroid IR720 filter, which is not actually infrared filter, finally I have something that works amazingly. Interestingly I can focus even with the filter on with my Pentax K3 using the live view with guided focus lines.

I used this filter with Ilford SFX 200 film and got some great infrared shots on a sunny day. I think the filter lets 720 nM and greater wavelengths pass through. I calculated the f stops reduced by the filter as 5 so this gave me a calculated ISO for the SFX film as 6 and that worked fine. Perfect for landscapes but any leaf fluttering in the wind came out blurred. The Wood effect (bright areas in green fopiliage) was moderate with the SFX film.

I bought this to use with some of the new Rollei films, and it works great. I use it with a Nikon FM2, and was surprised to find that meter readings through the filtered lens more or less matched those taken with a Luna-Pro SBC (applying a filter factor of 16). Development confirmed that metering TTL is possible with this filter, at least on my camera.
