Lensbaby Composer Pro II Fuji X Avec Sweet 50

I already have a nice assortment of Fujinon lenses for the X-T20, but I wanted to try something different. This is my first experience with a non-Fujinon lens on the X-T20. First off, it does what it says its supposed to do and its a lot of fun to play around with it. That said, the build-quality falls short of Fujinon lenses, but thats OK. This is a once-in-awhile lens. It took me a while to figure out how to get it to work, though. Fuji buries the Shoot Without Lens setting under the SET UP main menu, and then buried under the BUTTON/DIAL SETTING sub-menu. The instructions that came with the lens arent specific, but thats really not on LensBaby. Overall, Im looking forward to experimenting and seeing how far I can take this lens.

This is my first Lensbaby but I'm sure it won't be my last. I have been on several walks in my neighboorhood photographing flowers and shrubs and have been happy with the results. I use a Canon 6D with the Lensbaby. I'm not clear on whether the effect will work as well on a crop sensor body so I haven't tried it. Give it a try!

bought this to try something different. fun little lens

Bought this after watching video on "Painterly" flower pictures. Like to have one blossom in focus and the background blurred. Just getting used to using this lens as focus is very "touchy". However, when you are careful it works as advertised.

Fun lens really glad I bought it. Took it to the Botanical Gardens and I am very happy with it.B&H was great fast delivery as always. Thank you.
