WahooFitness Wahoo Tickr Fit

Worked well at first and is super quick to throw on and start working out. Started to glitch at about 16 months. Then it just died. Pretty disappointing life-span.

I've had this unit before. I'm buying another because I love it but lost the last one.

I like the tickr fit much better than the Garmin and Wahoo chest strap monitors I had previously used. The chest strap monitors were unreliable in that suddenly the reading would drop by 10 to 20 bpm even though I was riding at the same intensity, while my Apple Watch was clearly more consistent. This was especially a problem in cool to cold weather. In addition the chest strap monitors typically only lasted for 3 or 4 months before getting completely wacky. I've been much happier with the Wahoo tickr fit. I've used it for a full year and it has been much more consistent. When it wears out I intend to get another one. I use it for 8 to 10 hours of riding before charging. I would recommend it for a friend, especially if they have the same issues I had with the chest strap monitors.

Easier to use than chest strap models. Big on/off switch. Perfect for linking to Wahoo kickrbike.

The plastic that the arm loop passes through broke after a little more than a year of using 1-2 times per week. The design is simply not robust enough and I would recommend not purchasing.
