Le Garmin GPSMAP 65 se distingue par sa grande précision grâce au GNSS multi-bande, surtout en forêt ou en canyon. Il fonctionne avec des piles AA, ce qui est pratique pour les randonnées de plusieurs jours sans électricité. L'autonomie est bonne, mais l'indicateur de batterie n'est pas toujours fiable. L'écran est petit et de résolution inférieure aux modèles plus chers, ce qui limite la lisibilité des cartes. La synchronisation Bluetooth avec l'application Garmin Explore fonctionne mais reste laborieuse et limitée. Si vous cherchez précision et flexibilité d'alimentation, c'est un bon choix, mais pour un grand écran ou une connectivité avancée, il vaut mieux regarder ailleurs.

My best tool next to my trowel :) This is so easy to teach TOs to use in the field when tablets are limited and GPS programs not always easy for them to learn. a one or 2 button press means they never miss an artefact and these little beauties are tough for fieldwork.
