Le TomTom Rider 500 Europe est un GPS moto populaire avec un écran clair, utilisable avec des gants, et un design robuste et étanche. Les utilisateurs apprécient les mises à jour cartographiques gratuites à vie via Wi-Fi et les options d’itinéraires spécifiques pour motos. L’intégration Bluetooth permet les appels mains libres. Les inconvénients sont que seules les cartes européennes sont incluses et que les POI moto manquent, présents sur le modèle 550 plus cher. Its solid, weather-resistant design and well thought-out features put bikers' needs first, improving safety and enhancing fun. Nice touches put it ahead of rivals from Garmin , but if you want the Bluetooth headset version expect to pay more. Seemed to be working fine but then became faulty, Screen kept going black for 8/10 seconds then coming back on, ordered another and seems to be working fine

Early days for me .. but intuitive, clear and works well. I thought I was going to use the USB from my bike to power it but you can’t. Has to be wired in with the kit provided. If you are like me then you’ll be wanting to buy a separate ram mount too.. just to make the job look a lot more professional and get the screen where you need it. All a bit of a faf, but once installed it’s a great aid.

The satnav itself is good and the MyDrive route planning software does a good job with seamless transer to the device - BUT - straight out of the box the mount does not charge the thing. I've checked all the wiring and 12 volts goes in but nothing emerges from the charging pins. The forum is full of similar stories. You can run a usb into the back and charge it that way, but a new product ought to work seamlessly. They want me to send the mount to Rumania for repair but the device is then rendered unusable for the duration. I want a new replacement mount.

Great sat nav .... just the app on the phone doesn’t work well so better all to do on computer rather then on phone....
