The filter grid is too long and can not go into dishwasher. It has to be cleaned by elbow grease!! Manufacturers should consider smaller four filters t instead of two long narrow ones! Most dishwasher grease filters fit the dish washer! But Smeg 90 cms filter does not fit the dish washer!!@ The filter is such poor quality that holding it hard bends the grill. Also the filters do not stay in the hood slots well. Very delicate and not fit for purpose. I will have to change this Smeg hoof to another brand. This was bought in a hurry to complete kitchen.
