As described, I chose this model for home use, because it can be installed without the need for an internet connection thanks to the CD supplied (Windows10 and -) and because of its multiple scan formats. As a layman, I still had to spend half a day on it to teach myself how to use the settings (different memorised configurations, assign config. to scanner button, destination folder, etc.) without the help of the internet. Nickel colour or greyscale scans depending on the quality settings beforehand. I've also tried black and white scanning, but either I've got it wrong, or it's just perfect for getting horrible, droopy fax scans from the 90s... Its portable nature means that you have to get used to it, or even try again, to get the swallower to take the sheet without the slide that is typical of office printers or scanners (or else I've just got fat fingers).

It's a good little scanner. I thought it would be better than the RR-60. But, I was wrong. Each time you scan something, you have to press add-finish-or done on your computer screen. And evidently the RR-60 comes with the software that you have to buy for this one.
