Lost Planet - Extrene Condition PS3

Not impressed. I realize that the game is 10 years old, but that should have no bearing, as I still love playing older games like GTA: Vice City and Halo 2. The story was probably a cool idea, but it wasn't executed well. The gameplay is okay, but the story rushes through too much exposition without allowing the player to feel invested in any sort of quest. The acting is just plain corny. And for a guy like me, who really plays games for the story and the single-player campaigns, this was kind of a let-down. But I bought it at a used game shop for 89 cents. What should I have expected?

A welcomed true new IP (in 2007). A fresh take on new planet colonization. Fun, exciting combat in Vital Suits (Mechs) vs Akrid (aliens like monsters) to take down to colonize a hostile planet. Highly recommended.

This game is horrible. The graphics as compared to other 3rd person shooters leaves much to be desired. The game play is severely uncooperative and clunky. The weapons are under powered and the cut scenes overwhelm the game. Avoid this games at all costs.
