FIFA 08 sur Xbox 360 est considéré comme une avancée majeure pour la série, notamment grâce à une physique de balle améliorée et un gameplay plus fluide. Le jeu paraît plus réaliste, mais le rythme plus lent ne plaira pas à tout le monde. Le contenu est riche, avec un nouveau mode 'Be a Pro' et de nombreuses options en ligne. Les graphismes sont impressionnants, mais marquer des buts est plus difficile, ce qui peut frustrer certains joueurs. Dans l’ensemble, FIFA 08 est une simulation de football solide, mais pas sans petits défauts.

I haven't played FIFA the last 2 years but I still play FIFA 08. I think it is still the best release. Very good graphics (for 2008 standards). The ability to control just one player while the rest of the players stick to the game plan is a very useful feature that makes it seem a bit more realistic. Rather than controlling every player that touches the ball, you can play an important role and the game will grade you if you're not being a reliable teammate. A lot of teams to select. I personally battle a lot with my friend replaying El Clasico: USA vs Mexico. Good camera angles, realistic moves. Be-A-Pro Mode is awesome.
