Bound by Flame

I have a soft spot for the developer Spiders, but damn, this one kind of sucks. The combat is fine, I guess, but the story is terrible. Also, the combat is kind of unbalanced. The game can be very difficult if you don't know what you are doing. My least favourite game for Spiders. Although, I spent $1 and it gave me 40 hours of gameplay, in my first playthrough so, if you find it for sale, it may be worth a buy. Not going to play this onje ever again, but you may find some fun weith it.

You reach the final boss and the game decides to do a complete 180 and gives you an encounter you would expect from a soulslike except you'll probably get more balance and fairness from one of those. The small window of opportunity you have to get any offense in you would think your character is secretly sonic the hedgehog with the mere seconds you have not mention it feels like the hits don't really register sometimes oh and of course its a dragon that can 1-2 hit you. besides that, BBF is nothing special but if you've played spider/cyanide games before i see no reason why you wouldn't enjoy this just know the final boss will infuriate you and make you most likely gave up completing it.

Like other titles from Spiders, this is a rough, low budget game, but it has a decent story - albeit not that original - decent combat, decent character progression, it's a decent game overall. The game is quite difficult, I had to switch to the easiest difficulty when I had to go into a 2nd boss fight after using all my potions on the 1st one, and I never looked back - unless you do this, you'll have to learn to use the rogue stance as well, and that's a bit of an acquired taste. Also, there is no storage/stash, so I recommend picking up the 2 mods that remove the weight for items and materials, else you'll have to constantly tear down or sell cool looking items. It's not a perfect title, there are lots of issues with it, but for a game with a small budget, it's really worth picking up on a sale!

good game i wish it was better with more potions for healing in game with out making them

I was sceptical about this game after reading some reviews, but this game surprised me positively. For now I'm having a lot of fun playing game. Combat is solid, characters and NPCs are written good, the plot is interesting. Since this game is really cheap, give it a chance.
