Shenmue 1 & 2 propose un monde ouvert nostalgique avec beaucoup de liberté et d'ambiance, désormais en HD et avec des chargements rapides. Le système de combat est profond et l'interaction avec l'environnement est importante. Cependant, les contrôles et la caméra sont datés, le rythme est lent et il subsiste des problèmes techniques comme des bugs sonores. L'absence de guidage moderne peut compliquer la tâche des nouveaux joueurs. Les fans de l'original apprécieront, mais les nouveaux doivent être conscients de ces limites.

The games are good, but you have to be patient with the pacing, it might come off as very slow but it compensates that with an interactive setting: with places to go explore and minigames to play as well.

It's an okay series of games. The first one is a bit slower paced than the second but it'll always be my favorite game from the Dreamcast era. The second game has more action. I tried to play the third game too but it wasn't very fun (I played Shenmue III for a few hours). I may give it another chance in the future.

Great game. I never played it until I purchased this copy. I know it was even released on ps4 until I stumbled across it at GameStop.
