The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 sur Switch est une aventure point-and-click drôle et complète, avec beaucoup d’humour et de parodie du genre fantasy. Les personnages sont bien doublés et les graphismes sont beaux, surtout en mode portable. L’inconvénient est que la maniabilité est parfois lente et maladroite, et certaines énigmes sont très difficiles. Si vous n’avez pas joué au premier opus, il peut manquer du contexte, mais l’histoire se suffit à elle-même. Le jeu convient surtout aux fans du genre qui aiment l’humour et prennent leur temps. Attention : il n’y a pas de prise en charge de l’écran tactile, ce qui rend le jeu moins intuitif que sur PC.

Returning to Aventasia was a delight. I revisited all the sights I loved and caught up with the good folk who made my last foray into their lands such a joy. The fact everything looks exactly like it did all those years ago was a comfort, but I couldn’t help but think they really should have given the place a bit of a spruce up after all this time.

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is a great ‘point and click’ adventure game. Over the course of the game you’ll be pulled out of the moment as they reintroduce characters with little context, or mention moments you never saw if you missed the original game. Despite this and some frustrating controls and movement, the game is worth checking out if you don’t already have it on another platform. Genuinely humorous and fun adventure games are far and few between, so if you’re willing to overlook some manageable issues it’s definitely worth a look.
